Safer operations where GPS signal is missing

Indoor positioning is a module for ALECOM Command & Control. The module is developed to ensure personal safety and operational efficiency in environments where GPS signal is lacking, for example in complex buildings, tunnels or larger facilities.

The system is based on standardized positioning beacons, such as Bluetooth® Low Energy and WiFi access points, which enables quick installation and a cost-effective solution.

Different technologies for calculating position

The system combines different technologies (Bluetooth®, WiFi and GPS) to calculate position. The result is sent as an SDS message with Beacon ID and signal strength.

Receiving emergency alerts

Dispatcher receives and manages both location data and emergency alerts from mobile devices using the Alecom 112 app or similar.

Emergency alarms can be presented via the operator screen, information screen or sent as an SDS message with Unit Alert to a radio unit. Alarm notification is given in clear plain text to colleagues.
